Cross-country fuel planning that answers the question EFBs can't.

Overview

A general-aviation trip fuel planner for iOS, Android and Linux desktop. Toggle which stops you buy fuel at and the whole trip recomputes at once — cost, fuel burned, and the minimum reserve margin across every leg — then save the variants and compare them side by side.

What it does

Whole-trip, not leg-by-leg
EFBs plan each leg in isolation. Fuel Planner answers "what if I fuel at B instead of C?" for the entire route in one recompute.
Cheapest plan search
Searches every combination of fuel stops — and how much to buy at each — keeps only the plans that hold reserve on every leg, and picks the lowest total cost.
The departure airport counts
Enter what's already in the tank plus the price at home base. Uplift tops you to full and charges only the difference — fuel aboard is never bought twice.
Minimum margin as the headline
The smallest reserve margin across all legs says whether the whole plan works. Negative anywhere and it's flagged, in the summary and on the chart.
Wind triangle solved per leg
Enter TAS, course and wind and the app solves for groundspeed, with an optional climb allowance and weight-effect-on-burn model.
.fpl import
Paste a Garmin or ForeFlight flight plan to prefill the route. Waypoints and coordinates come across; speeds and prices stay deliberate.

Worth knowing

Honest about the optimiser

The cheapest plan optimises fuel cost and nothing else — not ramp fees, FBO hours, or that one field closing at sunset. A stop with no price entered is never selected, because a missing price is unknown, not free.

Honest about scale

Above seven fuellable stops the exhaustive search stops being interactive, so it switches to a greedy search, labels the result "Optimal (good)", and tells you.
