Privacy policy
Last updated 25 September 2026
The short version
- Our apps collect nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing sent to us or to anyone else.
- This website has no analytics and sets no tracking cookies.
- The only personal data we hold is what you type into the support form, and it is encrypted.
- We never sell or share your data, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
The apps
Kwantity, QR Import, Fuel Planner and the other applications listed on this site do not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no telemetry. Nothing you enter is transmitted to us, because there is nowhere for it to be transmitted to.
- What you type stays on your device, held in the app's own storage.
- Where an app uses Apple's iCloud to sync your data between your own devices, that is between you and Apple under their terms — we cannot see it.
- Camera and photo access, where an app asks for it, is used to read the image in front of you and nothing else. Images are not uploaded or retained.
- No third-party SDK is embedded in any app for the purpose of collecting data about you.
This website
The site has no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. We do not set cookies to identify or profile you. Pages are rendered from compiled content, and browsing the site creates no record tied to you.
- A session cookie is set only where one is technically required to operate a page securely, such as protecting the support form against cross-site request forgery. It holds no identifier for you and is not used for tracking.
- Our web server keeps short-lived operational logs, which may include your IP address, as is normal for any server. They exist to keep the service running and secure.
- The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and us is encrypted in transit.
Support requests
The support form is the only place this site collects personal data. When you raise a request we store the name, email address and the description you write, together with which product it concerns and the time it was raised. We ask for nothing else, and you should not include passwords, licence keys or other secrets in the description.
- We use it for one thing: answering your request. We do not profile you, market to you, or use it to train anything.
- It is stored encrypted at rest on our own server, readable only by the service account that runs this site.
- It is not shared with any third party. There is no external helpdesk, ticketing service or CRM involved.
- You can withdraw a request at any time using the reference and code issued when you raised it, which deletes it outright rather than archiving it.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Under the GDPR we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) to handle a support request: you contacted us asking for help, and answering you is the obvious and expected use of what you sent. Where a request concerns a purchase, we may also rely on performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
How long we keep it
Support requests are deleted automatically 365 days after they are raised. This is enforced by the software rather than by anyone remembering to do it. Withdrawing a request deletes it immediately, without waiting for that period to elapse.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Because the only data we hold is a support request you sent us, most of these come down to asking us to show you or delete it — and you can delete it yourself with your reference and code.
- To exercise any of these, email support@xwind.org.
- We will respond within one month, as the GDPR requires.
- If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
Where your data is
Support requests are stored on a server we operate ourselves, located in the EU. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA.
Children
Our apps and this site are general-purpose tools not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from a child. Since the apps collect nothing at all, the only way a child's data could reach us is through the support form.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. The policy is kept in the same version control as the software it describes, so its history is a matter of record.
