Support

Something broken, something unclear, or something missing — raise it here and it reaches the person who wrote the software.

Support is handled by the person who wrote the software, not a rota. Expect a reply within two working days; a reproducible bug usually gets an answer sooner than a question about what something is for.

Common questions

How do I report a bug so it actually gets fixed?
Say what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. For Kwantity, the expression you typed is usually the whole bug report. Include the device and OS version — a layout problem on one phone is rarely a problem on all of them.
Will you reply to my ticket by email?
Yes. The address on the form is how a reply reaches you, and it is used for nothing else — no mailing list, no forwarding to anyone outside Crosswind ApS.
What are the reference and the four-digit code for?
They are what lets you look a ticket up again without an account. The reference identifies it and the code proves it is yours. The code is shown once, when the ticket is raised, and is never shown again — so write it down.
I lost my code. Can I get it back?
No — it is not recoverable, which is the point of it. Raise a new ticket and mention the earlier reference in the description, and the two can be tied together at this end.
Can I ask for a feature rather than report a fault?
Please do. Pick the product it concerns and describe the problem you are trying to solve rather than the solution you have in mind — the underlying problem is usually the more useful half.
Is there a paid support contract?
For commercial deployments and consulting engagements, yes — response times and scope are agreed per engagement. Raise a ticket against "Something else" or email directly, and it can be set up.
What happens to what I write here?
It is stored on Crosswind's own server so the request can be worked on, and nowhere else. No third-party helpdesk, no analytics on the contents. Withdraw a ticket and it is deleted outright rather than archived.

Rather just email?

The form keeps everything in one place, but a plain email works too — for commercial support, licensing, or anything that needs an attachment.
